Future of Eyewear on Display: NOW Design Competition Finalists Announced

Attendees to Vote on Visionary Designs at Vision Expo West, Leading to Grand Prize at Orlando 2026

Norwalk, CT (September 8, 2025) – NOW by Vision Expo, the premier showcase celebrating innovation in eyewear, proudly announces the five finalists for its inaugural NOW Design Competition. With over 100 entries spanning design students to established industry professionals, selecting the finalists was a formidable challenge. Each submission showcased exceptional creativity, vision and potential to shape the future of the optical industry.

Finalist designs and project descriptions will be showcased at Vision Expo West 2025 in the NOW Pavilion (Booth P22015) from September 18-20, where attendees can preview the entries and vote for their favorites. These finalists will be displayed alongside the NOW Award 2025 winners. After the show, the NOW creative team will make the final selection. The Grand Prize winner will be announced on Thursday, January 15, and their design will be featured in the NOW Trends Showcase at Vision Expo in Orlando from March 12-14, 2026, a platform dedicated to spotlighting the most innovative eyewear designs.
“The NOW Design Competition celebrates bold thinkers who dare to reimagine what eyewear can be. It is about ideas that challenge, inspire and shape the future of eyewear. With over 100 applications received, the selection process was both inspiring and challenging, reflecting the incredible talent driving our industry forward,” said Nico Roseillier, Director and Creator of NOW, and Owner of UN-TI-TLED Creative Agency.
Launched in collaboration with The Vision Council and the Accessories Council, the competition theme “Visionaries of Tomorrow”, reinforced NOW’s commitment to elevating eyewear as a form of cultural and technological expression.
