The Mission 500 Security 5K/2K run/walk will be held in-person beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 24 in conjunction with ISC West. Proceeds from this fundraiser go to help children in need across the United States.
Mission 500 is also hosting a virtual Security 5K/2K event available to anyone who will not be on site for the live version. The live event will take place at the East Entrance of Sunset Park in Las Vegas. Shuttle bus transportation will be provided to and from the Venetian Expo taxi ramp off the Level 1 Lower Lobby. The first shuttle bus will depart at 6:15 a.m. and the last one will depart at 7:00 a.m. The shuttle buses departing back to the Venetian Expo will leave as they fill up from the event.
Participants in the Mission 500 Security 5K/2K will be awarded for their performance across various age categories, as well as those companies and individuals who led the fundraising efforts.
The Security 5K/2K awards ceremony will be held with the Mission 500 Corporate Social Responsibility and Humanitarian awards ceremony at The Bridge Stage - Booth 20073 at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24 on the ISC West Show Floor.
The Security 5K/2K is a joint collaboration organized by Mission 500, Security Systems News and ISC Events. Confirmed sponsors for this year’s event include ADT, Alarm.com, Altronix, Axis Communications, Bosch, COPS Monitoring, DMP, First Response Security, Galaxy Access Control, HID, Hikvision, Milestone, PSA, UTP and WeSuite. In addition to participating in the Security 5K/2K, security industry professionals and organizations can support Mission 500 in a variety of ways, including volunteering at ISC West, through donations and more.
